This isn't cheap fragrance for the average person and I certainly can't afford to wear Oud everyday, but when I do, I unceasingly receive positive comments on its rich, complex and somehow refreshing fragrance. I won't try and describe it as that's impossible but what I can say is that it manages to oxymoronically be dense and classic but light and contemporary at the same time. It doesn't lose it's power throughout the day but it does evolve and the citrus notes seem to be the ones that linger the longest. The other delightful aspect is that you are highly unlikely to come across anyone else wearing it (?the male equivalent of someone else wearing the same outfit as you?)

Acqua di Parma's 'Oud' is a class act. On first application I was a bit worried that I'd smell like a wannabe Formula One racing driver but once it's settled this Cologne is subtle and class.It's difficult to review these things for two reasons - one, the olfactory thing is very subjective and depends on the way you want to smell. Secondly, it's down to how the stuff reacts with your skin. So if you read reviews of Colognes saying they smelt loathsome, it might be down to the reviewer's sweat acidity as well as their own personal taste.One things you can take as objective though is the quality of a Cologne - if it smells expensive, then it's likely to be expensive. And Oud definitely isn't a cheapskate's choice.So,

Pure magic! The best Oud fragrance on the market that simply scream's "CLASS & MONEY"!When compared to other oud fragrances this is more uplifting and fresh. Not the moist stickyoud you find in such parfumes as Tom ford's Oud Wood (which is also fantastic). 5 Stars
