First off I would like to say that I only write reviews about products that I think are worth it & would help others make a decision on whats best to buy.After trying a few different helmets for my 2 1/2 year old daughter without finding the perfect fit / product. I settled on this Abus Smiley helmet. On arrival I un-boxed it and was instantly impressed by the build quality. The outer shell blends nicely to the inner & all straps and fittings are well manufactured, adjust well and above all re assure that the helmet will do its job effectively.As this was for my 2 1/2 year old I measured her head at 46cm, this helmet caters for 45cm - 50cm. I have to say that it almost fitted perfect straight out of the box.

This is a lovely helmet. However, the site is confusing as regards the size - I ordered the M size in the Royal Green) believing it to be 52-57 cms (as indicated for the other two colours on that page). What arrived was a 50-55 cm helmet which was too small for the child. I reordered a different ABUS helmet and am very happy with it.When I went through the Returns process, I was informed that I would be refunded in full, and that there was no need to return the helmet! I'm very pleased with how this was handled, especially since the speed of delivery is excellent the second helmet arrived in time for the birthday!

Ordered a new helmet for our 10year old daughter and one again struck with retailers like Amazon telling us that certain products are either for boys or girls.Amazon. Some girls don't like pink things, some boys don't like blue/red things. There's no reason to label/theme something like a helmet as one thing or another. If you use the whole "well the manufacturer says it's a boy's helmet" then do what you do in most other scenarios and overrule it !!The helmet is very well made as you would expect being German and fits very well.

I dont often write reviews but I need in this case! We bought one of the Micro ones before for our 2 year old and 9 months later its still too big! So we ordered that purple one from Abus. Its perfect and the fitting is much better than Micro one and with the pudding under the chin makes it really comfortable. And its not pink or full of boring fairies, yay!!Instead my little girl looks really cool in it but still girly!:D

I needed a good quality helmet for my little girl who has just turned three. Having had one failed attempt with the design of an entirely different product, I was hoping this one would do the trick and I wasn't at all disappointed. This helmet fits securely, is well balanced so that it doesn't slip forward or back and can be easily adjusted for a snug and secure fit. She loves it and enjoys wearing it.

I turned to a purchase on the net because impossible to find a bike helmet at the size of my baby in supermarkets. My baby has a small cranial perimeter but at 16 months we finally wanted to enjoy bike rides with our baby. This helmet is perfect in addition to being very cute. It fits very easily and looks comfortable and secure. Sending very fast and neat. I absolutely recommend.

Simplemente muy contento con el producto. Son originales, la verdad q pensé q no por el precio. Me fascinaron. Lo único que no me gusto fue q el envío llego muy atrasado pero lo puedo entender ya q las fechas que lo compre fueron problemática fin de año ETC... Si creo q volveré a comprar en este sitio. Tuve una pregunta y me lo resolvieron en cuestiones de menos de 24h.

Very good quality helmet. Attention to detail. easy to adjust, light, adequate air ducts, insect protection net. protectors all over the inner surface. It took a little longer than the estimated time of arrival, but there was information throughout and it was worth the wait. (the most important: the children also liked it very much !!!!)

Excellent bicycle helmet for little ones. The straps adjust and the clip on the chin is padded to prevent pinches and irritation on the skin. It also has a circumferential adjustable clip to tighten onto the head. I am very pleased with this helmet, having previously ordered and returned a Raleigh helmet.

Bought this in place of a Microscooters helmet for my 2.5 year old daughter. This is a much better fit and less bulky looking. Microscooters helmet in size Small was absolutely huge! Also prefer the padded chin strap and more reasonable price tag. Would definitely recommend.

Seems well made, fits well and a solid security helmet for a young girl who is now enjoying riding her bicycle with her family and in the good weather experienced in the UK at present. She and her parents seem very happy with it.

Great helmet, fits well, feels well made and my 21 month old was happy wearing it. It has a pit of padding underneath the chin strap to stop rubbing too which is great. Nice bright colour

It's a great fit for small children looking to use a scooter or bike. Good snug fit and sits well on top of head without slipping or appearing cumbersome. Great choice of designs too.

Great size doesn’t look over sized on the head like some helmets can. The chin strap is easy to click and release and seems comfortable. Light weight.Good quality and great colour.

Great little helmet! Fits my 8 month old perfect! So soft inside, fits well and looks safe! Love the design! Will be getting all my stuff from these guys going forward. Love it!
