These are small, anti opportunist thief locks. I have hand cutters which would snip through the cable in a single cut. But their purpose is not high security. They are designed to keep honest people honest. Mine are looped round a single motorcycle soft pannier and another around a roll top bag. Easily adjustable and very easy to set the lock number. I would not use them for overnight security but perfect to hinder a chancer at a cafe or filling station. I especially like the cinchable length. As an occasional cyclist, these would be fine for a cafe stop if your bike was in sight.

After several laps at the end I decided to buy one ... Of those I have seen on the market, the 2503 model is the only one that offers the 2.5mm steel cable, compared to the standard 1.6mm. It is clear that the system is not infallible but fulfills its mission ... Practical, comfortable to wear, lightweight ... It is what it is for a specific moment and that does not disturb the rest of the day

Great ending. Advantages compared to various other locks is that the cable is just a bit thicker, about 2.5 mm, and an additional advantage, which was not in the description (or I must have looked over it) is that the cable is plastic coated is. The latter is a big advantage because then my bike will not be damaged. And the, measured, length of 1.20 meters is also delicious during use.

Compact, light and easy to set up and use. This will not deter a determined thief, but for securing a cycle while you get a coffee, it is ideal. I have 2 of these, one the shorter length, and it takes but seconds to secure my bike, one lock round the front wheel and the longer one round the rear wheel and whatever fixing point is available.

I bought it to have it always with me, for ex. for aN unplanned short stop for a drink. It's pretty sturdy and the cable is long enough to lock 2 bicycles side-by-side. However smaller and lighter lockers are also available that do almost the same job and need less place in my (somewhat small) back-pack. Otherwise it's solid and works well.

I use this if I take my Brompton to a cafe or pub. Even though I keep my Brompton with me, I can put the cable through the bikeframe and round a table or chair leg so it gives me that extra security that if it's busy, someone can't pick up my bike and walk of with it if I turn my back.

Use at Bikepark, pop into centre briefly to pick up pass, drink , a coffee..secures our bikes quickly and easily. Fits into pocket nicely, I’ve used to keep luggage and anything else I’d not like to lose close to me to help deter any opportunist .

Excellent highly portable cable lock that fits neatly into cycling gear pockets. Has a slightly thicker than usual 2.5mm cable. Ideal for short term deterrent from theft/unauthorised of your bike when making short stop-offs for refreshments.

Bought this to use for drink/rest breaks for my bike. Much better than I was expecting. The locking cable is thicker than I thought it would be. It’s not intended to use in high crime areas or left for long periods so meets my requirements.

German construction so very well made and definitely a cut above the cheap Far East models. Ideal for securing your bike for brief periods e.g. nipping into a sandwich bar. Very quick & easy to fit!

This won't stop serious thieves, but it will deter some and will be easy to take with me. Now I can go into a shop or a public washroom with less worries.

The order arrived 1 day later than expected on the site. It is light and small to fit in the jacket pocket and sufficient to hold the motorcycle helmet.

Easy to use and light, a bit big for jersey pockets, it could have a little longer cable to take some more bikes when you leave them in a group.

I use this to additionally lock my e-bike, in addition to a regular lock. Do not know whether this is effective against bicycle thieves.

Lighter than expected. A bit too thin and seems like it’s easily cut. But it’s more for opportunity thefts. Good quality for sure
