I was torn how many stars to rate this. Based on the product alone I would give it five stars. Build quality is good and it works well. It is exactly what I needed - a very light lock to keep in my bag at all times, to lock my Brompton to luggage rack bars whenever I need to sit further down the train carriage. The build quality is perhaps not surprising since it is made by Abus, a very reputable brand.However, I am docking a star because it was an absolute nightmare figuring out how to set the combination. The instructions in the packaging were completely useless - after reading and re-reading but getting nowhere I nearly sent it back. Eventually, I pieced it together watching youtube videos (in German)

This little device is very light (53g) and easily fits in the rear pocket of my cycling top.It feels well made. the mechanism is slightly finicky but works fine.The wire is very thin, you could probably cut through it with a strong pair of scissors and certainly a pair of pliers, so I wouldn't use it leaving my bike on a stand in town, for instance. However, for coffee stops when I always feel slightly anxious about leaving my bike outside, this is perfect, enough to deter the casual thief.pictured with a tube of lip balm for comparison

Good quality a little expensive but trusted brand. Bought for handy coffee shop stop lock. Very light weight neat compact for jersey pocket. Would not stop determined thief but prevents someone just walking off with your bike. The 900mm cable version may be more versatile for little extra weight. Overall a good choice.

Good little lightweight lock for use on racing bike will give some piece of mind when club cycling and stopping on a short break. I wouldn’t be using it if far away from the bike for a long period.

Nice lock but cable is much shorter than I thought it would be. Should have measured before ordering. Delivery time was not acceptable. It took over 2 weeks to receive.

Good quality and ideal size to store in the jacket pocket. the only thing that the length to tie skis seems a little short.

Small padlock to fix the bicycle, it is ideal for carrying it, weighs very little, small in dimensions and good finish.

Sometimes shows a little short when extra support for quick stop, but nickel if used for accessories.
