And, yes, I do have a Ph.D. So I am a Doctor; moreover, I love the lock. It’s light, easy to store (don’t even need a dedicated hard point for it) and it has a very clever key lock that doesn’t require the key to secure the lock. All you do is place the folding elements of it through your bike and a strongpoint then just reinsert the end of the “free” element back into the lock itself and it’s secure!

Looked around for a lock that was small, reasonable strength and that could fix in my saddle bag. This fitted the bill, not for us when left for extended time, but seems like it will do a good job on coffee and shopping stops when out and about.

I was unsure of the size of the loop so bought 2. They lock in to each other and go through the front wheel, frame and security post. As far as security is concerned...fingers crossed no one has tried.

Great for securing to a normal bicycle bracket and, in addition to a spare tube, multitool, air pump and protein bar, also fits in my Rixen Kaul Micro 200 saddlebag! So everything is on the road bike.
