Played it with an original thought that it would be a short, mediocre game that, due to its price and unheard of developer.I was extremely surprised to find it was a very fun and lengthy game with an exceptional level of attention to detail. the characters were charming and likeable. the level design was very different but in a good way. some scenes turning to one person being a distraction, and the other sneaking around.small minor spoiler ahead so if you want to go into the game knowing nothing then don't read ahead. this is not a story spoiler, just a gameplay featureI really enjoyed that there was next to no gunplay in the game, as it allowed for more humanity to be in bestowed to the game.

Great coop game with loads of variety in gameplay. As others have said, this should be played with a friend rather than a stranger as some of the lighter moments have had my daughter & I in stiches that I can't imagine you'd get with a random (baseball, basketball & banjo playing mini games are highlights). We haven't finished the story yet so can't comment on the length of the game but with forks in the road & the option to switch characters there's replay to be had. Overall a great coop experience to be recommended if you have a likeminded friend or family member & with only one of you needing to actually buy the game it's great value!

I've been playing this in short stints with an old friend in recent weeks and having a great time with it.It is a story based co-op adventure but unusual in that, even when online, it always show what your partner is going. This makes for a really interesting as you work through the game.The game is a 3rd person action adventure in which you play one of two character who have been jailed and aim to find a way out whilst also revealing why they are there and what they plan next.It is a lovely looking game with good controls and great sound. Overall a really good game and easy to recommend.

This is the perfect game for you if you loved The Shawshank Redemption. It has its own uniqueness to it aswell the main part being a two person breakout instead of one and of course done over a lot shorter time. I kept on saying to friend this feels so much like the Shawshank Redemption with characters and plot points being similar or the same. I would highly recommend playing this, especially with a friend. I would give this game 4 1/2 stars as it does feel a bit too samey however it has its own style. This review is only based off the first 2 hours of gameplay

Only thing you've got to play it with a friend not a randomer to get a proper experienceCan't say too much without ruining the storyHonestly can't say I've been this impressed with a game in years as far as a truly immersive story goesGameplay is good makes you really work for it, a bit of thinking and figuring outBut overall excellentI've literally sat on this game without a break all day and just finished itLots of plot twists and turnsI don't know what else to say other than it's brilliant in ways games haven't been in a long time

A way out is actually EA's first good (if somewhat brief) attempt to create a consuming story line,Too much said would ruin it for potential players however what i can say is, you should not play this without a friend as it adds to the immersion! Story telling and game play reminiscent of Telltales ''walking dead'' series, click and play etcImagine a typical prison escape film with a dramatic ending.6 hours of my life well spent, worth the small price its costs

A great plot, fun game play, fairly good graphics, great scenery, and a captivating ending.Reasons for not being five star - not overly difficult to complete, some graphics were a bit of a let down, and the occasional sluggishness of the game. Otherwise I really enjoyed this game and it’s brilliant to have a game two people can play whilst sitting next to each other and not relying on online multiplayer!

Excellent game, totally exceeded any expectations I had before buying it.Graphics quite average for today but the main selling point is the story and the co-op and both were anything but average. Perhaps the best local co-op game of this generation and definitely the best story I've played through so far, A Way Out won't leave you feeling disappointed (just make sure you have someone to play it with).

Good game, a bit short but fairly entertaining. I would have liked it if they focussed more on the prison break aspect of the game which only lasted for the first hour or so at most.Overall it was a decent game that I got to play online with my friend and I couldn't complain too much about the length of the game as the price is pretty cheap when you compare it to most new games these days.

This is a co-op only games. There's no single player so you have to play with someone in couch co-op or online. It's unusual but a great concept. The game is a bit slow and doesn't last a long time, also it's heavy on the video. However, it's a great intro game for couples where one person may not be a big gamer. Overall I think it's great for couples and friends.

This is a co op game split screen, two players working together to like prison break, look to breakout. May feel slow at start but the game picks up quickly and the pace and decision makeing can be funny with multiple endings. Xbox cleverly made this game can be played by two friends online but only one person needs to own game. Great value and enjoy.

Great Game, you get to go fishing, play baseball, and play connect 4 while your wife is giving birth upstairs, oh and i almost forgot all of this after breaking out of jail!It's like a film and game all in one, lots of humour. added from the sidelines. violence galour, sleek cartoon like action in places make this a visual treat!Play and have fun.

Loved playing this game with my girlfriend. A proper story driven game with excelllent gameplay. Halo 5 turned its back on couch coop and put graphics as the first priority so it was the first Halo I never paid money for. This game however puts the gamers first and still delivers fantastic graphics. More of the same please!

This game is brilliantly made, how you and a Co op partner have to work together to finish the game. You can play it split screen or you can play it online, also a great little feature means one person only has to own it for two people to play it online just send a mate a invite and it will download the game for them.

I loved this game because of the amazing and well thought out multiplayer gameplay, storyline and cinematic affects. I honestly cried at the end of the game because i had been so emotionally entangled with the characters. The use of music in the correct places just adds on to this outstanding game.
