What you get: 1 screen roughly 14.1 Widescreen dimensions. (189.9mm x 303.7mm) and 8 tabs to fasten your screen to your laptop. The screen wasn't a perfect fit (wrt size) for my 14.1w acer 4810t but it fastened easily enough with the provided tabs (I only needed to use 3 so there are more than enough provided). The filter provided sufficient coverage to obscure my screen and works really well to restrict visibility to any nosey people sitting next to me on the train or plane (Yes I have to slum it in economy even when I travel for work!). People standing (or sitting) behind you however will still be able to view your screen, albeit with slightly less clarity depending on their angle.

After trying other cheaper brands, well, this 3M product is worth every penny. One side helps to reduce glare (matte); the other makes the text look sharper and easier to read (gloss - iMac look). You choose.I placed small pieces of the double sided strips provided on corners to fix the screen. Privacy is perfect using either side.You need to make sure you have the correct length/width before ordering, though - do NOT trust the display overall diagonal measure!These screens are roughly as thick as an X-Ray plate; I do not know how they would work on a laptop, though.

This filter prevents people seeing what's on your screen, and it does its job well. Although the plastic filter does seem to reduce screen quality a tiny bit the lack of annoyance from people staring at your screen in public places makes it more than worth while.The filter is attached by a few plastic tabs that stick on the space around your screen. I don't know if this works on all laptops but I didn't have any problems.If you are annoyed by people trying to read your emails or watch your movies get one of these.

Delivered right away, meets all the specifications and works exactly as described. The filter makes the screen look completely black from any angle except the frontal position. From the frontal position, visibility remains unchanged, with no significant decrease in image quality or resolution when the filter is on.Very easy to remove and re-apply. I haven't noticed any issues with the adhesive substance as reported by other users, it keeps working like the first time.

I travel a lot and a privacy filter is par for the course to preserve confidentiality if I want to work while I'm on the move. They work well: it's not uncommon for me to be reminded by colleagues in the office to remove the filter so they can see what I'm trying to show them on screen properly. I find the gold of the filter presents the screen more naturally in terms colour than the plain black version, and there is no distortion of focus. An excellent product.

Good screen filter that gets the job done, only thing I mind is the fact that the manufacturer imprinted the model number on the top of the filter. It's very small and most people wouldn't notice it at all during normal use (since it is on the top bar of the open window), but my OCD complains about it :)Jokes aside, great product would definitely recommend it, if you don't mind small imprint on the top (5mm tall letters)

Great product and I genuinely forget that I have it on when I try and show a colleague something on my laptop screen. With the screen on another person has to stand right behind the user to see the screen. Others standing on any side of the user will not be able to see it. Great for people on the move or for those working in open plan offices with nosy colleagues ! Strongly recommend the product.

If you've not used one you don't know what you're missing!I now view the privacy filter as essential and have it on my laptop all the time. It's great to keep prying eyes away when you're working on the train or in a public place.It's really easy to fit, and you can remove and replace it as many times as you like, just by lifting it out and slotting it back in place.

I bought this item not for privacy reasons, but for reducing the glance of my standard screen.Because of a glance and matt side of this protector my need was posible with this product.Fits great, but the installation with the clear holder stickers, looks a litte cheapy.A sleeker solution would i prefer better.

Working in an environment where confidentiality is high, this screen is more than capable of the job. Not so keen on the 'sticky strip' attachment but it does everything I need it too. You can not see data on screen unless you are positioned directly in front of the screen.

Did what it said on the tin. Guarantees privacy from around 10 degrees either side of straight ahead.The sticky guide patches enable you to slide the privacy screen in and out.Really useful on a train or in cattle class on a plane.Mike

Have used these over the years for different work laptops, expensive for what it is but does exactly what it says, yes a little darker in the screen but at an angle no peering eyes, on the plane, train etc. all your work stays private

Does what it says, still give a good viewing angle for the user and restrictive for overlookers. Best bit is that it is antiglare so makes it easier to use glossy laptop screens in bright outdoor/train/cafe light

Useful for me as I travel on the train and work on commercial documents. It doesn't stop someone sat next to you from seeing what you are doing, but the amount of movement that they need to do makes it obvious

Cant fault this product for privacy, it really does the job well. Short of putting a towel over your head and the screen, this is one of the best options for someone who cares for data security.
