The tool were delivered loose in a box which gave the impression of a return. Close inspection showed no sign of use, so I presume they were new. Like pretty much all Proxxon tools, they are well-designed and give plenty of leverage. All the sizes feel good in the hand.One thing that was not mentioned in the product description (though I now see that several reviewers have highlighted it) - the long blade has a ball end. This really should be in the product description.I tested the 5mm wrench on some M8 cap screws and was pleasantly surprised that there was no slippage which is common with many ball end wrenches. It remains to be seen how they hold up over time as ball ends tend to wear. For now,
